The most important part of Christmas is the Christmas markets.

In recent years they know great flourish in every country, either as an exhibition of local food and drinks, either as borrowed idea from another country e.g. Germany, France ...
The Christmas market is Edinburgh has both. One part of the stretch in the gardens beside the Queen street .There we have the German standard with flea market, amusement park for small children, skating rink some classic German hot dogs and beers. Here we can find Christmas ornaments for our tree and various small gifts for friends and acquaintances. The Scottish market is most interesting and is in the square st Andrew with local cheeses, biscuits, and of course local whiskeys. The two markets are waiting for you from 10 am to 10 pm and admission is free. Highlights: The local donuts with chocolate and various aged Scottish cheeses in various flavors.
