Chicken curry with roses

An excotic idea for curry. This home made version its really special.
Preparation time 50 minutes
Portions 4

4 chicken legs
2 pieces of garlic, finely chopped
2 medium onions, finely chopped
400g coconut milk
4 tbsp sunflower oil
1 tbsp cinnamon,powder
½ tsp chili
½ tbsp clove pieces
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp turmeric
5 pieces of cardamom
15 dried roses (edible)
2 tbsp rosewater
Salt and pepper

Preparation method

In the grinder accesory of the  Kitchen Chef Sense  we add the chili,cloves,cumin ,turmeric,cardamon and the dried roses we me make a powder out of them.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion and the garlic for a few minutes. We add all the spices and we cook till then onions get soften. Add the chicken and fry until the chicken is browned all over. Stir in the coconut milk and the rose water. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve the chicken with basmati rice ,a squeze of lime and fresly chopped coriander or with a salad of your choice.
